The Abrams M1A1 HC is a modification of the American M1 Abrams main battle tank. Introduced into service in 1990, the M1A1 HC has been actively utilized by the U.S. Army and Marine Corps in various military conflicts, including operations in Iraq and Afghanistan. A distinctive feature of the tank is its improved armor, including depleted uranium inserts in the turret, enhancing protection against cumulative and sub-caliber projectiles. The tank is capable of reaching speeds of up to 68 km/h. It is armed with a 120mm M256 smoothbore gun, capable of using various types of ammunition, as well as a 12.7mm M2HB machine gun and a paired 7.62mm M240 machine gun. Equipped with a laser rangefinder, TDA, a thermal imager for the gunner. Additionally, the M1A1 HC is fitted with smoke grenades and a modern fire control system.
